We stopped by for a quick bite of lunch and it was one of the tastiest toasties I'd had! Service was so friendly and the atmosphere of the place is super welcoming and warm. Fabulous selection of wines too!

Popped in for a cup of tea and cake on the way back from the Lake District,. Lovely little place that allowed dogs, so perfect for us. Tea and cake were suitably lovely and the service was spot on. Nice wines to buy too but ran out of time. Would like to come again and spend more time there.

I definitely recommend The Crossing Point for breakfast. Poached eggs on toast with bacon is simply excellent. Wonderful service. Darren and the team are friendly, fast and very accommodating. Dog friendly even if seating is a little tight when crowded. The small, carefully curated wine shop has a great selection and shows real care and knowledge. Very unexpected bonus in a small cafe! Our many breakfasts there were always happy occasions -- a perfect way to start or finish a walk to Devil's Bridge from Kirkby's central square. Keep an eye out for the frequent wine tastings, too.

Went there in the mid morning. Was seated and told it was table service. Waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our order, during which time 4 tables around us were cleared, an outside table that was empty when we arrived was served and a man who had just come in was served too, which was the final straw so we left.On numerous occasions there were staff pottering behind the counter, avoiding our eyes, or walking past our table to take things off other empty tables.A shame as it seemed like a nice place and I had heard good things.

Fantastic stop for an early lunch before setting off on a long drive home!Homemade soup was delicious and the breakfast my partner had was of amazing quality, not an ounce of grease in sight, everything cooked to perfection and you could tell it was quality produce! They even spared a sausage for our hungry looking basset hound (who uses his eyes to his advantage!!)Would definitely recommend!

Had a bottle of wine and slice of cake in this cafe. Very cosy surroundings, lovely staff, AMAZING gin and tonic cake paired with a beautiful bottle of wine recommended by the staff. Very welcoming, reasonable prices and the pooch enjoyed his doggy sausage x

Sunday morning just (11.45). Situated in a lovely quaint building with a modern interior.4 for breakfast, we were seated quickly at a window table.Ordered a breakfast, sausage sandwich with extra mushrooms, toast and marmalade and fruit loaf. Food was fantastic, filling, full of flavour and, in my opinion, good value.Tea for 3 was with loose leaf tea and came in a BIG pot so plenty of cups for all.Would recommend and would go again.

Characterful cafe with a friendly welcome. I had the vegan sabich sandwich, the first time I’ve had one, which was delicious. It came with a generous pot of fries too. I also treated myself to a bottle of wine from their tiny but huge wine shop.

We had a lovely lunch here today and they catered for my restricted dietary requirements perfectly and very thoroughly. Food was delicious. Very professional and a wide range of wines to purchase. Would definitely recommend and return.

Quick family lunch - really delicious and staff so friendly and helpful. Very glad to find this gem of a cafe and we will definitely be back to try the cakes and wide range of main dishes. Coffee was good too.

As the fussiest cake eater in the land, I chose the appealing Coconut Cake with trepidation, as I am so often disappointed. Not this time! The cake was DELICIOUS. Moist, fresh, tasty, not too sweet and a good size. The open fire and friendly service added to the excellent experience. We shall return.

What a wonderful little cafe, service was outstanding, so friendly, my Coffee Late was delicious, ‘hot’ how it should be! Breakfast was delicious and a sausage for our little dog to. We were too late for breakfast where we stayed , only on until 9.30am, we won’t book breakfast again when staying in Kirkby Lonsdale, instead we’ll just come here, highly recommend !!
