Gorgeous Art Deco hotel at remote and peaceful location. Very dog friendly, wonderful food, accommodating and helpful staff. Perfect for a short break to recharge batteries. Roaring fires and good whisky!Food & drinks: Mark Greenaway the chef produces excellent food
Beautiful location. We had fine meal on the Saturday night, big family birthday event.We had our dog with us, the room suited him well minium carpet.Service was very good.Would happily stay at the hotel on another visit to the Lakes.

Beautiful venue, really stunning scenery and perfect for a few days getaway. Lovely food, personally preferred the brasserie menu but others in our group preferred Mark Greenaway. Very comfortable beds, lovely stylish design. Personally I’d prefer fresh milk in the room and a few more tea/coffee options, but that’s just about single use plastic reduction for me.
