Excellent Indian Food. We were staying as a family at the nearby Centerparcs and just fancied a change for food options so ventured into Penrith. There wasn’t a great deal happening on a Wednesday night but found Raj by chance. Very warm welcome and very helpful staff helped me choose a takeaway for 3 people. Our first time here, (only in penrith for the night), but I'm so glad we found the raj, brilliant friendly service from Russell and staff. Lovely fresh poppadoms and the mix platter starter was great, however, the main courses were even better, the house special was wonderful and is very recommended.

We don't eat a lot of takeaway food, but we're so glad we visited this place. We ordered chicken biryani and it was fabulous! Very good portions for the price and the service was quick and efficient with very polite staff.We will be going back for sure ??
