Called in for one pint but stayed longer and returned the following day to try it again.Staff on both visits were friendly and welcoming and the beer (Guinness and lager) was spot on. The clientele in The Robin Hood who I took to be regulars, were also friendly with good craic.I would recommend this place for anyone who is visiting Penrith to try, it is a good, old fashioned boozer in the centre of Penrith with nice staff, a good mix of locals and even better beer.Give it a try.
Great local boozer. No frills. No nothing really but does exactly what it says on the tin. Sky sports etc. but get here early as well supported by locals and limited room. Friendly down to earth bar staff. Cracking pint. Would go again.

Great Bar, we go here every time we visit Penrith. Nadine is a fantastic member of the team, and she looks after the bar with great skill and vigour. It's always full of nice people who make you welcome.
