Smatt's Duo
32 Main St, SedberghFriendly cafe, relaxed. Extra hot water for tea as a standard was welcome. Oat milk. Coffee (decaf) best my wife had drunk all day (they have quality coffee/tea). I had a homemade scone (lovely). Stopped off en route (North Pennine cycle way) and able to secure bikes nearby.

The Thirsty Rambler
14-16 Main St, SedberghThe best bar in Sedburgh! The beers are all local beers, a great selection which changes regularly and the gin and tonics are fantastic! Very dog friendly, provides beds and towels for them which is a cute touch

Dent Stores B&B
Dent Stores, Main St, Dent, SedberghGreat little B&B, very comfortable and clean room, tasty breakfast and nice natter with the lovely Sue. She made us want to move to Dent straight away! Highly recommended, we will be back (for the Dent Dale Run).

Cross Keys Temperance Inn
Cautley, SedberghReally looked after us and made us chips even though they'd stopped serving hot food because we couldn't eat anything else on menu. So friendly and helpful, would recommend after a walk up the falls

The Moorcock Inn
Garsdale Head, SedberghLovely tea room with great coffee and homemade cakes. Indoor or outdoor seating, in a nice location. Sadly the pub itself is now closed, but lives on as this tea room that sells beer. Definitely worth a stop, great service from the ladies that run it.

The Tea Room
Farfield Mill, Garsdale Rd, SedberghWent here for the first time at end of November - the mill itself has some very interesting stalls, worth a visit if you like crafts. The food in the cafe was good. Very busy when we were there but service was good. However the place was really cold!! There is no heating and everyone was sat in their coats. This did detract from the experience and for that reason I won't rush back until the summer! It is nice that it's dog friendly - we did a lovely walk from here.

George & Dragon
Main St, Dent, SedberghStopped here for a couple of drinks after walking up Whernside. Good selection of cask ales, draught beer and cider. We then booked in for food a few hours later - would definitely recommend booking as it gets busy being one of the only places serving food in the village at tea time. I got the steak pie which was incredible - full of loads of bits of meat and really rich gravy, services with incredible chips. Photo doesn’t do it justice as the pie top looks a bit burned but trust me what was underneath was mega!

The Red Lion
3 Finkle St, SedberghLovely pub with a rustic charm, the food was lovely and good portions and prices, would recommend if your in the area. I don’t know what the accommodation is like? as we just called in for something to eat, but I’m sure it would be just as nice as the pub
