We only went in for drinks. It was the horrendous weekend at The Lakes (2nd & 3rd December) where the snow was dreadful so it was nice to be in a pub with an open fire. Service was friendly and beers were good. Couldn't fault it at all. Would definitely return.
We had the pleasure of finding this pub after our walk and couldn’t recommend it more! The staff were incredibly attentive and even charged my phone whilst we had a few drinks. There was a lovely fire and the atmosphere was great. They really looked after us and our dog (it may be the most dog friendly place we’ve been) and we will be making a return next time we’re here. Fantastic evening!!! Thanks :-) xx
