I had the most amazing time at the restaurant at The Old England. The food was divine, We all had different steaks and they were all juicy and perfectly cooked. Amazing chunky chips that stayed hot throughout and the crispiest onion rings. Exquisite. I have to give a special mention to our host Emily who couldn't do enough for us to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and also to the barman, Tommy, who had to keep up with our drinks orders and was very attentive. Food was only ok for the price. Nothing special. I’d say it was a bit overpriced for pub food. Your paying more for the location. The location is good and if your lucky enough to get a booth or window seat you can see right out to the lake. The service was good.

Our room was very clean and spacious. Plenty of fat pillows. The bathroom was gleaming.The roast tomato soup and fillet steak were to die for.Enjoyed our first day here. Thank you.Parking: Parking is a short distance from the hotel, but secure. All door ways are wheelchair accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wide doorways and lifts.
