A warm and friendly pub. Doesn't serve food as just a traditional pub. Has a jukebox, pool table and entertainment on a weekend. Also shows live football matches.Great pub in the heart of Alfreton.

How anyone can find fault in the place is beyond me, the service is impecable, the atmosphere is friendly, helpful and attentive. The prices are just added extras really! You might have the best prices in your business/industry/area but if you don't back it up with service, I'm afraid you fall short. This pub is simply special, the prices are extremely competitive but that is overshadowed by the service. Very attentive staff, welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and the locals are more than happy to engage in conversation. This really is a gem in the middle of town. Music, TV, sports, it has it all. Well worth popping in and saying hello to Ryan who will make sure you have a pleasant visit.
