I visited this pub for dinner on a Saturday night, was greeted by a friendly member of staff who explained how food service worked. The pub itself is nice, quite cosy and small with rustic charm. Food was an easy 10/10. Good sized portions, good value, good flavour.Drinks were good, fairly priced and a lot of selection on tap.Noteworthy details: Good bit of proper English countryside.

Great experience. We were greeted by a delightful lady who showed us to a table by the fire and brought us menus. This is a cosy pub with a pleasant ambiance, and the food was excellent. I had the fish and chips. The fish was huge with light, crispy batter and the chips were some of the best I have tasted. My husband loved his chilli, which was served with separate jalapeños to adjust the heat level- what a good idea! All together a lovely lunch.
