This was our first visit to the Yonderman and we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, on a miserable cold rainy day. We really enjoyed our bacon cobs and hot drinks, which were served promptly, and were surprised at how extensive the menu is - the cakes looked amazing. We will definitely be back.

I dropped into the cafe as I drove through the Peak District. I got a breakfast sausage roll, which they call a cob in this area. The food was prepared quickly and I sat outside to eat it before continuing on my travels. The food was nice and at a good price. The cafe looked clean and so were the toilets. The cafe seems to be a bit of a meeting place for motorcyclists and car enthusiasts alike. It’s worth a stop to refuel yourself on your journey, if you’re in the area.

Food was good. Good selection on menu. Took 45 minutes to serve up a burger though. We sat on table for 30 minutes with someone else’s dirty plates - promised to be cleaned up three times, had to go get someone in the end. Had two cans of lemonade, served without a glass, asked for glasses, server went away. Again, had to go find someone to ask for a glass after 20 minutes waiting. Plenty of staff.
