Highly recommend to visit this pub if you are around! This building is 1787 years old! The atmosphere beside is so cool! We haven’t booked a table but lady kindly found one for us. Food was very nice! There is at the bar good choose if local beer (I had blue Christmas one). Inside the pub you can find a lot of cool stuff, pictures, maps where you can put the pin on the place where are you from. Dog friendly. Again, highly recommend it
We visited here for dinner again after a fabulous meal two years ago when we stayed in the Peaks. Amazing food again, all homemade, generous portions, inspiring menu, dog friendly and very welcoming, with a great atmosphere. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Superb. Every bit as good as I’d heard. Lovely Sunday lunch served by a friendly team in a proper pub…that hasn’t, like so many, been gentrified and converted into a restaurant.
