Called on spec,we were hungry so we both had pie with all trimmings..we didn't leave a thing..and the ladies waiting on were really friendly...and at 2 for £15p,we thought it excellent value.? Will call again for certain.
Fabulous food, great beer all at a good price. Usually I hit the specials board, eg. Matured Roast Beef, Hot & Spicy Chicken or Farmhouse Mixed Grill. Today I was hoping for Steak & Sausage Pie, this is the best pie I have had ever, succulent cubes of prime steak and quality lincolnshire Sausage in a gorgeous thick gravy. Nice customer service, I enjoy staff I can have a banter with.It's very satisfying food, in my opinion.A beer garden that's not only of size on the decking up front but it's fancy looking too.But all is complimented by a bike night's on Mondays at 6 pmCar nights and a fantastic owner.well worth a visit, especially if the sun is out
