Come in for a bit of lunch and I was severed by 2 lovely ladies called Grace and Chelsea, I had a delicious carvery served by Dan the chef and had a pleasant lady called Amanda who had checked if I was enjoying my food. I would definitely recommend this place as it’s a good atmosphere and pleasant members of staff.
This is a nice comfortable pub, with a large menu, and generally good food. Staff are very friendly, and although understaffed when it gets busy, Dawn behind the bar doesn't get flustered or panic, and serves customers quickly. Worth a visit, drinks are expensive, but food prices very reasonable.

Dawn was brill as was jake , 45 min delay for food which arrived much sooner so all happy , food was fine and hot , carvery was running low so chose from menu, lovely helpful staff who kept us informed on food times etc , will return again .
