Booked a table for 6 of us after we had finished our Dovedale walk.Didn't mind we were late, but not surprising really as it was almost empty.And I'm really surprised it was. I couldn't fault the food. On a Sunday there's a special 2 or 3 course menu or a bar menu to choose from. We all chose from the bar. We had the fishfinger sandwiches which were great. Tasty handmade battered cod on freshly sliced bread. With skin on chips. Would definitely have again. Others in the group had beefburgers or the halloumi which they said were good.Staff were friendly and the food came quick.Place could probably do with a bit of a makeover, but if you like oldie worldy bars/ restaurants, then it's perfect.Would definitely come again.
