Review of the restaurant, we didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms.Lovely old pub, with stone and timber interior decor and a roaring log fire. Met by the friendly barman and waitress as they were opening up for lunch.Fabulous food, we felt like we struck gold today. Absolutely fantastic village pub really friendly staff the decor was immaculate with log fires really toasty and warm. But the food was on another level out of this world 5 Star who would have guessed that it's only 18 miles away definitely will be returning

Fabulous food. Great service. Cosy restaurant on a bitter winter's day. Not able to fault anything. Will definitely be returning. Ginger pudding to die for and real pies, pastry all round.
