Great value for money, very nice food, the staff was very helpful the only problem they had was with the drink but that wasnât there fault at all, the place is dog friendly ? and thatâs brilliant, 5 âď¸ all round review other places need to know and if they donât then get to know, come here if you can best pub food Iv ever had !!
We visited here on a Boxing Day visit to Matlock via the steam train. We only had drinks but the place had a nice atmosphere and the staff were helpful and friendly. Comfortable seating available.

5/5 We stopped off here for a Sunday roast. We were very pleasantly surprised, wonderful food, we had the lamb and the beef, very generous portions and both delicious, excellent value. The cheesecake was amazing. . The staff are all friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We will visit again when we return to the peaks.
