Visited for Sunday lunch before going to Matlock Bath. Greeted by friendly and efficient young staff. Nice outside area with good views over countryside.Interior very nice, spacious and light with good choice of tables to suit group sizes.Great choice of food - not just roasts on a Sunday so will suit all tastes and appetites.Good selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. Plenty of parking in car park - all off road so no hassle.

Absolutely love eating and drinking here. It's so warm and friendly and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious and there is always a good menu. The service is brilliant and you never wait long once ordering. The service is quite quick. The beer garden is lovely in the summer and its nice they have a small play area for children to play too. Love coming here.

First time visiting here after we were told it was a lovely place to eat.From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and inviting. The pub is a relaxing comfortable place to chill talk and eat.The food was brought out quickly but was hot fresh and delicious. We had a stone baked pizza with cheesy chips.
