The food was excellent, and the cod was so fresh and crispy.Grilled salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly.The biggest letdown was the chops they were so soggy and must, which does let them down badly.

I've been to The Pelican several times over the last couple of months. The fish is fantastic, huge, fresh and flakey with crisp batter - never had better. The service is great and the restaurant and loos are spotless. The only thing that could be improved are the chips - too pale, not crisp enough and stuck together - on ALL my visits.
