My daughter took me here for a treat and it was lovely. We had the Vegan burger and a traditional ploughman's lunch brought out to us in the garden to enjoy on a summer's evening. The service was excellent and very welcoming and the food very good indeed.

We stayed for the weekend and had a great time! The staff were competent, efficient, effective and extremely friendly. The bedroom, bathroom was clean and tidy, we had tea, coffee, milk ,shower gel, shampoo, soap, towels etc The bar tender lady was extremely polite and friendly, the food was hot and tasty we had fish, chips & peas for £10.45, which was brilliant! This place when I was there was up for sale. I didn't eat there but had a drink. Never went inside as I sat in the beer garden. There is work to be done there. It is run down. It is placed on a main road and there would be passing trade so good for anyone buying. Has rooms above. Having seen a flat above it also needs work. The one member of staff that I saw was friendly.
