Lovely local pub, welcoming for guests. Food was great and timely, service friendly. Would definitely go again. Low cielings around the bar area to be mindful of, space was slightly odd shaped with your backs to a lot of the venue, but really it was a lovely trip. Parking is also right outside.
Lovely carvery lunch, booked as a party of 9, two of us are vegetarian. Everyone enjoyed their lunch, clear plates all round. Nut roast option was nice, we were served separate vegetarian roast potatoes and veggie gravy too. The meat eaters were all very impressed with their meals. Good value for money, friendly, efficient service ?

What a marvelous find in September while on holiday, that we returned again in December.Sunday Carvery was excellent, the meat was cooked perfectly and all the vegetables were perfect.We returned again on Thursday evening for another exceptional evening meal and pudding.All the staff are so friendly, excellent service, and family run by an outstanding chef.Thank you.
