A friendly place to stop when it was pouring with rain and blowing us off our feet. Several other cafes in above turned us away with the dog but Brookside welcomed us with open arms. Super friendly staff with warm smiles that made us feel very welcome. Food was hot, well cooked, served quickly and was plentiful - it also tasted superb. Found these guys while looking for a lunchtime snack on a damp day.A busy and thriving cafe/restaurant with good attention to detail, varied menu, good coffee and attentive professional staff who attend in and outdoors.Enough space between tables to be comfortable and not colliding with others getting in to them.The rear entrance is level through double doors for less able visitors in wheelchairs.Small step at the front entrance easily negotiated with care.Outside seating available...read full review

A number of good cafes in Bovey Tracey and this is one example. Attentive, prompt and friendly service, excellent varied choice of meals large and small, and open from 9am as we found. Quality excellent, commented on by a visiting French family. Recent comment from Ballymoney observed older people and did so twice. It was a Friday - most people at work, kids at school, great time to go out.
