While there is no breakfast provided on-site, guests can enjoy a lovely brunch at the nearby Ullacombe farm. The hosts are described as friendly and helpful, even providing a travel cot for guests with young children on short notice. However, the hotel has recently transitioned to more of an Airbnb-style accommodation, with guests receiving a key to their room and no access to a bar, restaurant, or basic amenities like a fridge or microwave. The building and location do not seem well-suited for this new model, especially during the off-season, with a "Shining" feel to the mostly dark and isolated property. The rooms are comfortable but lacking in attention to detail, and the bathroom needs modernization. Overall, the accommodation may not be worth the charged price, and the management needs to decide whether to reclaim the property and restore it to its former glory as a hotel.
