The place has stopped operating as a hotel. Itâs now more of an Airbnb. You get a key to your room and thatâs it. No bar, no restaurant, not even a fridge or microwave. In fairness they went out of their way to make this clear when I booked and I accepted it was room only. But the building and location donât work very well as Airbnb, especially not out of season. What a beautiful place to stay. Was very welcomed and nothing too much trouble. Definitely stay again. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The food was fabulous too. Will definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

Ideally situated for exploring Dartmoor, perfect for our break. There was no breakfast onsite which we were informed of when booking. However, we had a lovely brunch at Ullacombe farm just up the road. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Providing a travel cot for our little one on short notice.
