Had a lovely meal here with the family. Food was superb, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The lady behind the bar was lovely & chatty, and the chef was very accomodating. All the locals that were in were also really friendly. Very nice, traditional, family friendly pub. Would come back anytime, and would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of variety on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They made lots of accomodations for our children, and were really kind.
Visited on 24th may popped in for steak night ended up stopping for music quiz as well ,food was lovely steaks cooked to our preference got chatting to staff and locals who are all very friendly and welcoming went back following evening to participate in Open Mic Night .. great atmosphere WILL be back

We went here a few times during our holiday in October half term as a group of 8 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. The owners really looked after us & we had so much fun with the locals singing at open mike night and the Halloween disco/quiz! It really is a proper old school pub with good pub food!
