Really good Sunday carvery. Great selection of veg etc, all nicely cooked and interesting rather than just bland boiled stuff like you get at a lot of carveries. Can choose two out of four meat options and several vegetarian choices too, everything was really well cooked and tasty. Dropped in as a last minute thought for Satuday lunch. Pub was fairly quiet and was surprised they still offered an extensive menu. Only wanting a light lunch I opted for Steak and Blue Cheese pie and chips. The nicest pub pie I have had in a long time: not the normal 'chain pub' fare but home-made with plenty of chunks of meat. Very good value. Happy to recommend.

Sunday Carvery was really lovely. Lots of choice of meats and veg.Liked the fact that there were two sizes. Pre-booking advised, but we were walk-ins. Friendly staff.We will be back. ?
