It was perfectly adequate for a quick one night stop over at a cheap price. I only had a single room booked. It was small but suited my needs, could do with a revamp bit I suspec this would bring the rooms upto a higher price. I wouldn't recommend for a couple on a romantic evening or weekend away. Good pub. I have visited often when in Exeter. Good, well priced food. Pity there's no medium brown ale. Just IPA. I prefer London Pride, Doombar, that type of thing but it's not served here.
