We have just moved into the area and decided to try out our local pub. We had a delicious meal that was good value for money. My husband’s mixed grill was a good size and he said it was very tasty with his steak cooked just how he asked. My buffalo chicken burger was very tasty, the chicken was very tender and juicy. My son’s sausage and mash was tasty and as he doesn’t like peas, I asked the waitress (who we later found out was named Cherry) to swap them for baked beans...read full review
I had no need to stay over so I cannot comment on their accommodation unfortunately, but I enjoyed a lovely, well cooked meal. Popped in on a Thursday night. Friendly service, really tasty main and good value.

The Cavalier Inn is very welcoming. The Sunday lunch was spot on . We had a roast beef dinner with loads of different vegetables. The staff were excellent ?. It's also dog friendly as well.Food & drinks: Good price for the huge dinner that you get served. The alcohol is a good price too.
