Depending on who's manning the counter you can have a lovely welcoming smile or a barely concealed sneer. The fish has always been excellent and I can't find a thing to complain about. I always have it wrapped separately from my chips to avoid the greasiness others have mentioned. Portion sizes are generous and price is what you'd expect. Unfortunately this is the most local to me. Trying to not be negative as the portion sizes are good and some items are good like the sausages, the pasties etc Chips are different depending when you go in the week. Chicken balls not too bad. Will agree with other comments re the red curry sauce, could do with something more curry looking at tasting. This curry actually stained a plate and cant remove the red colouring from it. After a round the block trip to get to the place due to road works ordered some chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce which came up hot and after a short drive back and still hot. Food was too much and kept half for lunch the following day. Think the chef was Chinese whilst the other side is English
