It’s a nice pub with nice seating areas but the downfall is for the food which is over priced but we decided to go for a roast dinner and was disappointed and really didn’t enjoy.. we had pork which had a Chinese spice flavour on it and the hardly cooked roast potatoes and soup like swede and hard vegetables.. wouldn’t recommend going here for roast but maybe something else on the menu.. other than that the staff are really friendly and helpful.
We held our dear Mum’s wake here and we have nothing but thanks for the professional and kind manner from everyone throughout. From organising and booking to the actual day. Everyone said how lovely the food was too. The staff were efficient and unobtrusive. The afternoon went smoothly and although a sad occasion, was a perfect place to gather after.

Fantastic service, staff and lovely room. Whilst the food was of a high standard generally, a couple of people from within our large group mentioned that their vegetables were far too firm. And I would have to agree with that. Great experience had overall though and I woukdn't hesitate to visit them again.
