My wife & I call into this lovely establishment every year when we are on our holidays. Dog friendly. Tea and hot chocolate are so good we had a second round! Staff are very friendly. No food consumed on this occasion, but it looked very good.

Very relaxed feeling with lovely views from outside seating of countryside around Totnes. Lots of choices of snacks and coffee tea and soft drinks etc . Ideal stopping place on Fore St which is quite steep but has lots of ancient buildings and a good variety of shops . It also has an interesting Museum and a claim to tv fame as the building used in the shooting of The Coroner is there too.

Not surprised with the pretty terrible reviews. We live just down the road from here, so have visited quite a few times. It has been hit and miss. There's been occasions when they seem so short staffed, the tables are all full of used cups, plates etc. Kind of felt sorry for the one person having to do what appeared to be all of the jobs. Today though, it was wonderfully cool inside and such a relief to be out of the stifling heat outside. Because of this, no-one seemed stressed...read full review
