We wanted a quick lunch so stopped in at the green cafe. The homemade lemonade was good. Unfortunately the egg mayonnaise sandwich was more of a mayonnaise sandwich- there was about 1/4 of a hard boiled egg in it. I did raise this and the staff immediately agreed to rectify this but sadly they didnt have any more egg mayo ready to go so it would have meant waiting a further 20 minutes for some to be made up or I could choose something else from the menu. Had a homemade cheese scone, it was the best cheese scone I have tasted nice and warm as well, the staff were very helpful and friendly, definitely go back there, all the food is homemade, it looks and smells lovely
Not a fan of having to leave a poor review but I visited this cafe at the end of August and have to be honest about how it was. We were looking for a quick lunchtime snack after spending the morning in Totnes and Green cafe seemed to fit the bill.
