Not cheap but excellent. Fantastic position stuck out into the river teign.( Pronounced TEEN). Beautiful views all around with swans and other birds on the river. A sunset to die for when the sun goes down over Haytor rocks on Dartmoor....great history attached to this area. The granite stone used on the Thames embankment and London bridge came from Dartmoor via barges and this was an overnight resting place. Remains can be seen at low tide.
We visit The Coombe Cellars several times every year and have yet to be disappointed. Our visit on Valentine’s Day 2024 was no exception. We were warmly greeted by Jordan who assisted us throughout our visit. We were given a lovely table with views over the River Teign. Jordan assisted us with the best menu choices and made us feel very welcome. Our food was plentiful, tasty and excellent value for money. We shall certainly return later in the year.
