Very quaint, traditional interiors with fantastic music and open fire. Simone the landlady was really friendly and had some great stories to share. Friendly locals too.Quite steep steps from the carpark if you have limited mobility. We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome.Simone made ua feel very welcome and took an interest in the reason for our stay.The pub has a lovely atmosphere.We stayed overnight and the room was clean and comfortable.Dinner and breakfast was delicious and a fine example of proper home cooked food.Would definitely recommend and will be back.Nothing was too much trouble.Vegetarian options: Simon ensures that she caters for all dietery requirements

I don't usually post reviews on both Google and TripAdvisor but feel the need for this glorious and totally unspoilt pub. A proper locals' freehouse pub. Rustic and unpretentious which is the whole point of its attraction. A rare breed in this day of chains and gastro pubs. Delicious pub grub. Cosy. Log fires. Doggy friendly. Obviously.
