Had a great one night stay. Lovely room, clean with complimentary coffee, biscuits and water. One of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve had in a while, hot, perfectly cooked and good quality sausage and bacon. I paid upfront (non-refundable) so benefitted from an excellent rate. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area

A wonderful pub with a good dining area to one side of the main bar, food really good, dog friendly, with a landlord who collects militaria so some very interesting things to look at, open fires and logburner in the winter, good outside covered seating area, where smoking is allowed, the male toilets are very clean with a quirky take on the urinals. Ample off road car parking

We had the most amazing stopover in our campervan last night. Dinner was perfect ? and service impeccable. The manageress, Jackie was incredibly hospitable and friendly. We even had a delicious breakfast this morning, as dinner was so good. We would highly recommend a visit and we will certainly be back soon to try the Sunday roast.

Been passing here for years and always been hit and miss with opening times etc. However managed to get a table for Sunday roast WOW! we ordered Pork and Beef both amazing and realised why they have 2 sizes of meal as could not finish mine but they gave us a takeaway box. Good selection of ales and alcohol free on draught, staff were all quite young but very well trained and nothing was to much trouble well done will be back soon as worth the trip out

Dorset's Crafty Barn & Tearoom

Unit 1A, Luccombe Business Centre, Milton Abbas, Blandford Forum

We visited this tearoom a couple of times whilst staying in the area and both times we both had a delicious breakfast. Debbie (the owner) is more than happy to have a chat with you (if she's not too busy) and she will even recommend other places to visit. Be sure to ask her about the two resident ghosts Sally & George. Unfortunately we never got to meet, hear or feel their presence. If we are ever nearby we will definitely return here mainly because it is such a friendly place and my husband loved the scrambled eggs.

Beautiful relaxed pub, with friendly staff and good food. Stayed here overnight with the family. Ideal spot if you want to visit the Jurassic Coast for a day. We went to the Square & Compass pub at the coast and did the hike along the coast line.

Unlike many reviews here, mine is based upon over 10 visits made in the last year. I am local to the area and regularly visit pubs and other places to eat. Of the many places to eat in and around the Blandford area, this pub continually offers very good food, friendly staff and a lovely ambiance. Of choice, I would either eat here or the White Horse at Stourpaine. Both pubs accept dogs. The Anchor, rightly, has earned a good reputation.

Very testy very nice tender 59 east street wanna know a fact heat pump is an electric device that moves heat from one place to another to provide heating and cooling for a building: Heating In the winter, a heat pump extracts heat from the outside air or ground and moves it inside. Cooling In the summer, a heat pump moves heat from inside the building to the outside. Heat pumps are more energy efficient than traditional gas or oil boilers and produce fewer carbon emissions. They can be used in all climates and are a cleaner, low- or zero-carbon alternative to heating methods that rely on high-carbon fuels. Here are some things to know about heat pumps: Efficiency Heat pumps can produce around three units of heat for every unit of electricity they use. Types The most common type of heat pump is the air-to-air heat pump, which can reduce electricity use for heating by up to 65%. Installation Air source heat pumps are the most common type of domestic heat pump in the UK and are relatively small and cheaper to install than other types. Very cool fakt so coool YEAH

Amazing place run by an amazing landlady! I spent six hours here recently due to a vehicle breakdown and the staff and manager of the Royal Oak were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and supportive.

The locals were great too and in spite of waiting so long for the RAC they all made me feel like part of the family.

Okeford Fitzpaine is a lovely village in Dorset and this pub is the heart of the community.. take a detour and go and visit it. You'll be glad you did.

My favourite spot in Blandford. Welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. Although a bit more expensive than some cafes it is well worth it as the food always tastes fresh and perfectly cooked. Also great gluten free and vegan options... Highly recommend.
