We ate at the Anchor twice over the festive season. We had the Christmas menu with friends and what a lovely meal it was. There was definitely something for everyone. We opted for traditional turkey and it was the best we’ve ever had in a restaurant. Fabulous proprietors, excellent ambience, a tremendous range of tasty food. It was just the environment in which you felt you could relax. Reject the doctors, make an appointment with The Anchor instead - do you more good!

Absolutely amazing meal - cooked to perfection! We had the scallops and half a roast chicken Cajun style - can thoroughly recommend both. Portions were more than adequate - we were both stuffed but it was so delicious we kept eating until the plates were clean!! Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient and all very dog friendly. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you
