We had a great day round the castle and brought my Wife and kids to the Fox.
All of the staff were friendly, polite and professional. Lovely to chat to.
The food was spot on.
I had a lovely pie, nice big fat chips cooked perfectly. The pie was hot, the pastry was not too light and not too heavy. Filling lovely and tasty.
My wife had a vegetarian dish which was beautiful.
The kids had fish and chips, I tried the fish and the batter was perfect. Light and crunchy without being at all greasy.
A lovely selection of ales, I could’ve stayed the night and drank a lot more!!!

The New Inn
Church Knowle, WarehamI visited on a warm summer day at lunch time so I sat outside with a superb pint of Butcombe.and a snack from the starters menu. Excellent food quickly prepared and well presented.
It's a bit off the beaten track but a welcome retreat from the bustle of Corfe Castle, just 5 minutes along the road to Kimmeridge and Lulworth.

Kimmeridge, WarehamNice place to stop for dinner on a Summer's evening. Staff are great and really look after you. Menu is fairly basic - lots of fried food, would love to see more fresh fish. It's also pricey for what you get. PS Avoid the burger - worst I've had for a while

The Scott Arms
West St, Kingston, WarehamA must-visit if you're exploring the Purbeck coast, as you can walk some of the lovely coast path just out from Kingston village (include Kimmeridge if you can, a beautiful fossil-rich area) and pop in to The Scott after your efforts to take in some of the best views from this high point of Corfe Castle across the sweeping valley, and enjoy a relaxing refreshment. Food not assessed.
