Simon and Sarah are brilliant hosts, they have created an outstanding atmosphere in the pub, the staff make a lovely team. Great beer and cider, fair prices, generous portions. It's warm and comfortable.

Called in at lunchtime, for a lunch. The service was ery good bit it was the food that was exceptional. It was standard pub food but freshly cooked, generous portions and delicious. I had a bacon baguette my colleague had a burger. The pub was very quiet but the wood burner made it feel warm and welcoming.
