I don't mean to be mean-spirited, but... The Walled Garden Saturday, 21st October 2023. A cautiously pessimistic review. I am torn. Not like Imbruglia, naked and alone or whatever, but more a feeling I have about posting this review without sounding mean-spirited. Family Zeus and I were in south-west UK and visiting Mrs. Zeus's side of the family for a rampage through British countryside and Sherbourne was in our sights. Today we had lunch in the walled garden.The service was good. The food was fine apart from the 'rustic chips' which were more like crisps and hard.The afternoon Cup of tea and cake was excellent. The staff Very ikind. A bit pricey.

Very nice cafe. Smallish in winter but at least it is open, and so deserves our custom. In summer they is much more space but the welcome, quality and value are just as good. Top spot.
