Good coffee and tea serve ( in a pot with a decent amountvof nilk to accompany). Didn't eat here but menu looked good. GF options available. Building accessible and some interesting bits to explore. Easily the best views from Swanage area. Friendly service. Will revisit.

Excellent Food & Service! Myself and three family members dined here on May 3rd, and each had 3 courses. Bruschetta, Prawn cocktails, Bread & Oil as starters and Pasta Ragu, Spaghetti al Pomodoro and 2 of the specials and Tiramisu for all of us. Every course was extremely tasteful, hot and served with minimal delay. The manager and front of house were very courteous, efficient and smart. We have eaten here 2 years ago and met by the same manager who is just great! service and food as good as before.

Have been enjoying Wimpy burgers for over 50 years. In the mid 1970s I never could have imagined enjoying a Beyond Meat plant-based burger in a Wimpy - I didn't even know what a vegan was back then. Friendly service and a delicious vegan-friendly burger meal means that I will surely return soon...

I wanted to write a review about Greggs in Swanage because whenever we are there, whatever is going on, whether it is Carnival week or the middle of winter the staff are always there, open early and late, big smiles on their faces, really helpful. The place is always fully stocked and well run.

With plenty of choices of places to eat dinner in Swanage we opted for the Ship Inn. The outside is very well kept and the same can be said of the interior.\nThe staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. They were very attentive throughout in the right degree. \nThe menu offered great choices for all and due to an intolerance the chef made a slight change to my meal. Both my husband and I were more than satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food we ate which was very reasonably priced. \nWe are not locals but would return again and again if we were!

Booked a table for Sunday Lunch (essential). Choice of meats £13.95 or £15.95 for some of each. The portions were generous with plenty of meat, potatoes and Yorkshire and gorgeous gravy. Vegetables served separately included cauliflower cheese, peas, swede, peas and broccoli. It was hot and extremely tasty. \nOne of the best Sunday Lunch’s. It was busy but the staff were attentive and made sure everything was satisfactory.

A hidden gem! The decor may not initially draw you in but once inside it’s is a lovely welcoming atmosphere and the food is exceptionally good! We really enjoyed our meal there and will be raving about it until we visit the area again. Thank you to our lovely host and chef (who came to check in with us!). Real, delicious food. If you are in the area then it’s a must stop for dinner!

A lovely welcome by the staff and a superb menu to choose from. We weren't disappointed with any of the food and the 'special John Dory with Lobster and Lobster sauce' was exceptional as was the monkfish in a curry sauce. The starters were great and the desserts lovely too. The only criticism would be the stark appearance of the restaurant, ie no tablecloths, paper napkins and the lighting leaves much to be desired to create a lovely ambience as a little like a school hall but the food absolutely can't be faulted!

Lovely beach shack cafe, our lattes were really good - took a while to make, but definitely worth it! Served in proper cups rather than paper ones which is nice. My son liked his hot choc too. Raspberry croissant was delicious & husband enjoyed his pasty. Young lads serving were nice & friendly. Cost about £20 in total. It was quiet when we arrived but getting busy by the time we left. Some long tables for seating, but can take food/drinks to the beach too. Great location, can recommend ??

Having been told there was a 2 hour wait at our chosen restaurant just round the corner, my family and I stumbled across this family-run gem over the weekend and it was superb - simply delicious seafood and we were served outside by the lovely Merry who made us feel so welcome - thank you. We were so impressed with our dining experience at the Royal Oak. The owner was friendly and welcoming. We were sat in a small dining area with our two dogs. We had an amazing 11 veg on our plates and the chicken,beef and pork were some of the best we have ever eaten. Dessert was also perfect. One of the most delicious Sunday roast meals we have all eaten. Thank you for such a lovely dinning experience.

Grand Hotel

I was lucky to have my wedding at this beautiful hotel. The staff were so help full and helped my day to run so smoothly. I would recommend it to anyone.
