We Stayed Bed and Breakfast, but also ate in the pub one night. The room was , well heated and we loved the wet room as it can be hard getting in and out of a bath as you get older. The beds were very comfortable and clean. It was very quiet even though it is on a main road. Not far from the Beach or any of the sights inc shops and the steam train. We often visit Swanage and have been to this pub many times for drinks but this was our first time for food. The staff were very friendly and efficient but the food was something of a let down. Don't get me wrong, it was okay, but just okay. We wouldn't think of going back again to eat there but we would go back for drinks.
