Fantastic stay as part of a group of 8 for a friend's birthday. The location is great (even better out of season as it's nice and uncrowded!), rooms are lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast the next morning - breakfast is cooked to order from a menu (no sad looking breakfast buffets here!). We had a such a great time, we're already planning a return trip for next year. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy, welcoming break in a gorgeous location.

Thank you first of all for being an amazing person to me and my friend. Secondly, all the recommended bengali food and especially the naans that your dad cooked for us, I’ll remember the taste for long.
This is the place anyone should go to if they want indian/bengali/bangladeshi food.

I hope we get the opportunity to visit you another time from Cardiff.

We stumbled across this pub on our holiday, having just spent the day at nearby Monkey World. We were looking for somewhere to eat and wow the Duke of Wellington didn’t disappoint. We tucked into generously portioned roast beef dinners, while the children devoured chicken and chip basket meals. We were served promptly and professionally, by the friendly and welcoming staff. As a bonus there was live music going on with a small crowd creating a hip and joyous atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this pub for fantastic food, as well as to kick back with kind people.

We really enjoyed our visit to this modern bistro with Italian-inspired food. Food and service were excellent. We sat at a bar-style high table but were surprised at how comfortable it was, and it gave views out over the Wharf. A highlight of our time in Wareham.

Went to the Salt Pig in Swanage for a meal last night. The food is incredible. Highly recommend the madras (I had beef), lamb steak and the pork chop. Friendly staff and the finest local ingredients used.

Came and sat in the pub garden and had a couple of drinks, there is a nice outside area to sit and eat or drink. I didn't eat there, but I will definitely visit again for a drink as the atmosphere and the outside seating was comfortable.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting corfe. This is 5 mins walk from the station but it's worth it! We had the southern fried chicken ciabatta's for lunch and it was absolutely delicious and generous portion of chips and salad come with it. Lovely pub and lovely staff, highly recommend.

What an amazing place, we went there whilst on holiday camping as it was our friends wedding anniversary. They were very welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing, the chef was even able to make a sauce for my wife on the fly which she said was super, and she is a chef so that tells you how good it was.

Found this when searching for Champions League football in Wareham - the options are very limited and i’m not a fan of the Antelope.

Allstars is in a leisure centre, but don’t let that put you off. Once you get in, its got big screens plus a very decent projector screen for the big matches. Pool table, well priced food, wide selection of beers and ciders. Difficult not to rate this highly.

Charlotte was fantastic behind the bar - a real credit to the establishment.

Traditional English pub with an excellent selection of beer that changes regularly, a good menu with a choice for everyone, i've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. If you wish to dine on Sunday lunchtime, then you will need to book a couple of weeks in advance as it's always very popular.

The vegetables are cooked in their own way with flavour and taste. Cauliflower cheese eg gorgeous. Vegan broccoli dish unbelievable with the most loveliest sauce of chimichurri ?
Staff are really so kind. I had a little situation with my eye and I was looked after by the owners who genuinely care about their customers… the food and cleanliness is brilliant - I’m going to enjoy my beef pie now… Ellie the waitress is lovely too! The waitress Ruzana is soo kind and genuine and gentle, she belongs in a place with such lovely caring owners. Second time I have been here in two days just because of the gorgeous food and lovely vibe. Thanks. ? p.s can I have a free pie for loving you ?

Last month, I attended the 'Pasta, Pizza & Italian Breads' class mainly to learn how to make bread. I learnt more that I was expecting. The class was easy to understand.Giuseppe, made his class very exciting from start to finish. We were assigned various tasks which made the class enjoyable than overwhelming. I would definitely attend some of his other classes. Much appreciated.

Friendly staff, nice little shop. We had a rustica pizza, then a coffee and cake. Everything was delicious. Just a couple of tables outside, and bar style window seats inside. Bread looked amazing, although we didn't have any.

Real nice pub, locals enjoying dinks at the bar and we were having a nice and tasty Chili con carne. Real quality and fresh pub food. Place was very clean and light, we understand there are new owners since beginning of last month. So nothing like the reviews from before August 2025, the new owners are really making a difference. Highly recommended!

We visited Williams Village Bakery Shop in Wool and were blown away by how lovely it was. The smell of the cakes and fresh food as soon as we walked in was amazing, and everything looked so tasty. The two ladies serving were fantastic, so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. What really stood out was how they spoke directly to my young daughter, asking her what she wanted rather than just asking me. It made her feel included and so happy, which I thought was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. A wonderful bakery with great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back if were around here again!
