Nice average pub 3.5/5. Typical pub grub, Sunday roast and burgers. Sticky toffee pudding very nice - big 'mini' portion with coffee. By the river - booked table but in a 'corridor' area. Tables with a view in pub section.

Visited here week before Xmas at lunchtime with my parents. We didn’t have a booking, but as we were early they found us a suitable table. Staff all very friendly & welcoming. The pub itself has a nice cosy atmosphere, with tables nicely spaced apart. We had sandwiches & a quiche which was one of their lunchtime specials. All nicely presented & tasty enough. A family get together of 10, for a Christmas get together lunch . Well, a private room, well presented table & appropriate music gently piped through. Staff were just excellent as were the meals served up. We had Christmas turkey dinners and a few extras and drinks and both the food & service were great. Quite simply a lovely place to enjoy a good meal & service at a reasonable price.
