Stopped by The Parlour Cafe as our usual Sunday staple Full English venue The Anchor in Shapwick was closed and i must say how impressed i was. The Parlour breakfast (full english) was awesome, lovely sausages, hash browns the best i have ever tasted and that black pudding (an extra but well worth it) was amazing, lovely atmosphere and very happy and helpful staff. Used to be a favourite venue. Today, the breakfast was disappointing. The quality of the ingredients were always top notch, but unfortunately corners have been cut and in particular the quality of the sausages. Very average now and definitely no better than other competing venues.

What can I say, a lovely place to stop at for lunch. Had a lovely welcome with a choice of where to sit. Service and food was great, with friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
