15-33 Middle Chare, Chester-le-StreetI have driven past this place numerous times, but one day at work I decided to order a just eat from this place. The Portions were a good size, order arrived fast (way faster than expected and you normally get with delivery apps), they fulfilled my special request, food was all delicious-bolognaise, tomato garlic bread and the garlic dip was not what I expected in the best way possible but a large pot of delicious proper garlic aioli, I now plan to sometime soon visit the restaurant in person for food because the food was that good!

91 Front St, Chester-le-StreetMy sister and I came to Carsons on a recommendation from one of the people in a shop we visited in the High St at Chester Le Street. I had the veggie and Hazel tried the Scottish breakfast. It was great food, great service and a good price. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area If you want a decent breakfast in a lovely atmosphere.

After reading reviews which haven't been that great since the new management have take over I was hesitant to booking our girls night out at holathons. We didn't need to worry, the food was lovely, in our party 4 girls had the Xmas menu, scallops, soup , turkey dinner and beef dinner, 3 of us had normal menu, nachos sharer, and belly pork mains . The potions were huge , loads of meat with all the trims, veg done perfect, the belly pork was delicious (only gripe was no cracking, but we were so stuffed don't think we could have managed it anyway, lol ) Service was spot on .I mark down ambiance, because holathons used to be very lively in atmosphere , we found music a little quite for our liking. Am not one to leave a reviews but thought the new staff etc needed to know how happy we were .Definitely will be back.

My breakfast thos morning was great and cappuccino served just how I like it, not too hot.
Staff are very friendly the place has a family run feel to it.

11 S Burns, Chester-le-StreetHad a meal out with the family ordered the “chef’s suprise” a 10 course meal that tasted delicious! Great value for what you get. The staff here are really friendly, service is great. The restaurant was quite busy when we went however the food never disappoints one of the best in the north east when it comes to Indian food! Been coming here for years. Looking forward to my next visit.

The Snooks
Front St, Great Lumley, Chester-le-StreetI attended an open mike night at the snooks. There was a really friendly welcoming atmosphere that gives ordinary people the chance to enjoy performing live for an audience. There was a range of singers and styles on view and everyone seemed to enjoy the night. I will be back for more Every second Tuesday.

Bridge End, 5 Bridge End, Chester-le-StreetBy far the best kebab shop in the North of England. Their chicken kebabs are amazing and highly recommended especially with the extra hot sauce.
Also, their cheesy garlic bread topped with dinner kebab meat are phenomenal.

3 Bridge End, Chester-le-StreetPopped in (3 of us) whilst visiting from East Midlands, lovely welcome from both staff & manager.
Have to say the quality and quantity of food was excellent, you could actually taste the separate ingredients of each dish.
So wish we had such a good VFM(value for money) Chinese near us, even though my waistline wouldn’t thank me!

Front St, Chester Moor, Chester-le-StreetBooked a table in advance although there was no need as being early Jan, they were relatively quiet, shown to our table & menus provided, drinks order taken whilst waiting for family to arrive, tbh there was such a range on the menu it took us a while to order. The food when it arrived was well presented & tasted wonderful, was piping hot too which was a bonus, kids & hubby got a pudding each, hubby devoured the Eton mess, kids couldn’t eat their sticky toffee puddings as the portions were huge, would suggest you possibly share but I’m not a pudding person although they looked & smelt amazing. Based on this experience we would definitely return & recommend to others, shout out to John the member of staff dealing with us who was really engaging & very pleasant, thank you!

Every volunteer had a smile and spoke to us both.
There are items for people to take and pay what they can afford.
It really is a wonderful use of food that otherwise would be wasted.
Please try and call in and support this wonderful cafe.

Nothing was a bother, even putting the rugby on the TV above my table for me to watch. Karaoke night was so much fun, free raffle tickets with every round of drinks, free shots with every song you sing. The music, entertainment, sound system and many many TV's playing just about any sport you want. Fabulous!!
