Having booked 2 nights for February, I needed to change my booking in a hurry. The website said no room, but on phoning the hotel directly (with phone charges involved), they had plenty of room. I think Premier Inn need to check their computer system as this could have led to them losing 2 nights B+B if I had decided not to bother phoning.On arrival, the staff could not have been more helpful from fitting us in and helping me get the heating going. Clean and quiet, exactly as expected.Slightly tricky to navigate to if you're not familiar. Worth making sure you have exact location in the satnav, otherwise you'll end up in the Arnison Centre with no hope of escape.Not the best attitude from front desk on first interaction, but near faultless after that. Desk is not best designed, if someone is sat behind a monitor you will have no clue they are there.
Regular visitors to this Premier Inn but this time on arrival we're met by a rather gruff receptionist. Not a member of staff we've encountered before on our many stays and a little more etiquette would be beneficial after a journey of several hours.Otherwise, first time we've been located upstairs and noticed that there was no lift available?
