We were staying locally and walked to the pub. We ordered 2 burgers one was Cheeseburger and one was a pulled pork burger. Absolutely beautiful and tasty and served by lovely friendly staff.
Really nice, friendly pub with great food that takes dogs. The menu was pretty extensive and covers both pizza/ pasta/ burgers and more unusual and interesting options. Lots of traditional desserts and I was impressed that even the custard was homemade.

The chips are the best I've had in Durham so far. Their Sunday Lunch is incredible and the portions are more than generous for all the food they make. Great selection of desserts. Staff are very friendly and it wasn't loud like many other places in Durham are.
