We visit here after band rehearsals quite often, lovely vibe and the Mango Lily's on draught is a huge plus. Lovely little booths with TV's too. Served by Emily who was lovely!
A truly "proper pub" in the centre of Durham, a city infested with expensive and pretentious hospitality sites. Would you pay £4.50 for a warm 330ml bottle of Peroni? Me, neither.This isn't that kind of place.. A decent selection of cask ales at good prices, and a superb atmosphere. Scott the manager runs a good pub! He has some excellent, down-to-earth staff with a good sense of humour. Recommended!
