East Shore Village, North Rd, SeahamVisited the crows nest while seeing my family up north I had never been to the pub before and it was a stop off on the way back down south what a stop off it was!\nThe choice and quality of food was fantastic. The staff were brilliant. The place was busy but that didn’t stop my food coming out within 10 minutes which was ideal based on the fact that I had a long drive ahead of me.\nThis will be a permanent drop-off place now on my way home whenever I’m back home\nKeep up the great work

Sambuca Seaham
The Engineers Arms, 5-6 South Terrace, SeahamFood was absolutely lovely and the portions were massive and very reasonably priced. The waiter (Jamie?) was very pleasant and amicable. This place is worth visiting.
The only thing I would reconsider would be the decour, but it was clean and tidy.

15 North Terrace, SeahamI feel ashoka is better than samrat in food quality, but samrat is cheaper..
Staff at ashoka are great,helpful and friendly..
Unfortunately we were sat at the table near the door so, with customers in and out, it was cold..
Defo recommend out of the 2 indian restaurant's in seaham..

Featherbed Court, 6, SeahamOur second visit today and the food was outstanding again. Friendly and welcoming front of house. We had the chicken boti curry with rice and a naan. chicken tikka boti, a beef burger, chicken burger and a chicken parmo. all the food was delicious.

Perfect Fry
Stockton Rd, SeahamWell where do I start, il start with the food obviously. It’s hands down the best in the area I’ve lived down here for a few year now and tried most places. I do delivery driving for a couple of takeaways and it blows there food out the water, I have a takeaway shop I love back home in Newcastle and never thought it could be beat and I’m glad it does, the staff are amazing and so friendly you must try the kebabs in fact try everything on the menu not at once but you know what I mean and I gaurs tee it won’t disappoint, I don’t get it delivered with me driving but my friends say it’s very quick and drivers are canny. I have my family down at the weekend so be puttin in a big order I know they are going to say it’s better then gills in Newcastle. Try it guys

3, West Grove, SeahamWestlea Pizza is a lovely takeaway ran by lovely and friendly owners. We usually order pizza majority of the time and we've never been disappointed. Food is always served hot, pizzas have plenty toppings and the pizza bread is beautiful! We highly recommend Westlea Pizza!

33 S Railway St, SeahamConsistently lovely food from Seaham Chippy. Been a customer for years. Really helpful team, fast service and high quality food. Picture of the cheese patty I got today on the lunch time special. Mega cheesy and delicious. They do great value deals and the prices are very reasonable. Keep up the excellent work Seaham Chippy.

George's Fish Bar
Doxford Terrace, Murton, SeahamWe have tried this takeaway on a few occasions recently only for the Chipshop part of the menu and we have enjoyed what we have had so far. It does offer other types of takeaway food which we may try in the future. So I would say if you haven't already been here I would give it a try. I am unsure if they deliver.

Gills Fry Fry
19 North Terrace, SeahamWithout doubt the best fish and chips I've ever had (and I used to live and work in a chippy so that's saying something!). We walked in for takeaway and sat on the nearby sea front to eat.
Fish and Chips cooked fresh to order so there is a little waiting, but we didnt mind when the food is so good. Very generous portions - 3 regular fish and chips was more than enough to feed two adults and 2 children. Service was friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy.
My two slight criticisms - this is being super picky!
Staff did not have head coverings (hats/caps).
If providing inside seating for diners I would recommend installing a small customer toilet somewhere, just for hand washing after a long day at the beach.
Well done team Gill's - flying the flag for quality British food at a reasonable price

Unit 3A, Byron Place, SeahamWe came to this Subway on the morning of Friday 25th March 2022. The lady that served us needs recognition. She was so helpful, smiley and welcoming. Both my sister and I have sandwiches with allllll the salads and sometimes, in other branches, it’s not as great as you’d want. Well, the lady here made us the most amazing salad sandwiches and we can’t thank her enough

Humbles
5 North Terrace, SeahamAs it’s the summer holidays, we often go out for meals and we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled across Humbles. The food was absolutely exceptional. The chicken nuggets were homemade and the best chicken nuggets that my 8 year old has ever had. We will definitely be returning.

The Village, Hawthorn, SeahamDined here for the first time on Saturday evening, the food was amazing, we had 2 fillet steaks and a spicy parmo. The fillet steaks were probably the best we’ve had, staff were great aswell! We only live about 8 minutes away and can’t believe I’d never heard of this place, we will definitely be back soon

Seaton Ln, Seaton, SeahamAt Seaton Lane the food was really delicious! The hotel and restaurant are pretty nice, beautiful. My husband and I had a fantastic week from Monday to Friday (march 2025). We can’t recommend this Inn enough. Gem ?

George's The Avenue
116 The Avenue, SeahamI used to go to Harbour Pizza in Seaham unfortunately it has changed ownership and when I tried the new owners menu it was not very good and will not be going back. So I decided to give George's on the avenue a go for a pizza. I got a bolognasse Pizza and chips and I was impressed with the pizza taste and quality of the order. We will be going back to try other pizzas and if they are of the same standard will continue to get our pizzas from George's on the avenue.
