We had lovely meal there last night both had lasagne with chips and salad, the chips are stupendous! I brought doggy bag home which my daughter finished off, cheese cake was lovely for dessert but the fella wanted a bigger bit. Staff were lovely and friendly - only negative the fella would have liked steak pie and my go to is salmon

This place is wonderful with lovely food and brilliant service . We always have a lovely meal here no matter when we call in , the staff are all fantastic, very friendly and can't do enough for you . The decor is old but adds to the character so if you like new wine bar type pubs then this will not be for you. Also it is not a fast food place so sit back and relax while the food is prepared , it is a very busy time of year so food may take a while just like any other busy pub...read full review

Lovely little pub with amazing food, my husband got a mixed grill and I got pepper chicken with chips and veg and the portion sizes are huuuuuge and tasty, the atmosphere was lovely and homely and the staff are very nice nothing is a bother and you get table service. Will most definitely be back ?
