The Swan & Cygnet is a modern community pub. There is a wide range of beers, lagers, and cider, including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. Both were in excellent condition when we called in. The staff and locals are very friendly and welcoming. It is a lovely cosy pub with a front garden and outside seating with views over the village pond. We did not have anything to eat, but a couple of locals told us the food was very good. Booked a table for Sunday Lunch. Wasn't disappointed. Massive Yorkshire Pudding with lovely roasters, veg and pork Loin. Very nice.All staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you.Thank you. We'll worth a visit.
Lovely meal , lovely surroundings, sadly the staff were a little over enthusiastic when asking " was everything ok" or " do you need anything else " which they did several times , even though we had booked a table , we thought maybe a" walk in" was waiting for our table as we felt extremely hurried particularly when dessert dishes were being cleared whilst one of us were still eating , and when we got up to leave every waitress pounced on the table to clear away before we had...read full review
