Went here for a family meal. Luckily we booked as the pub filled up really quickly. It soon became apparent why.The service was great and the food was excellent. We were taken to our table and provided with a drinks and food menu. Really nice to have table service in a pub.I went for a Garden Burger which was very good and the banoffee pie was exceptional. I was reintroduced to this wonderful restraunt by a special waitress employee, who suggested a visit, when I was organising a family pre Christmas meal. As proved correct, it was an excellent choice as the staff under pressure by guests arriving several hours earlier than booked¡! We had a wonderful family Christmas meal at The Plough on 8th December, 2023. We had the Festive Menu, and it was fantastic! The food was fabulous, and the service excellent. Heartily recommended.This is our favourite restaurant as a family.Our favourites were the Pork Belly and the Chicken Ballantine.
